|WALK EASY OFFICES OPEN
11:19am EST (Thursday, September 14): Things are nearly back to normal, at least for Walk Easy. Many are unfortunately not as lucky.
We are happy to report that Fedex and UPS have announced regular pickup service today and we should be able to get a lot of the pending orders out. Once again, thank you for your patience and understanding.
We should be fully operational by tomorrow and don't expect to post any further updates.
4:55pm EST (Tuesday, September 12): South Florida has been vastly affected by the hurricane.
Everyone at Walk Easy is fine as are our offices. We are working with minimal staffing but enough to get the most urgent orders dropped off at our shipping carrier tomorrow, Wednesday, September 13. However, please realize that this doesn't guarantee that such orders will make it on a plane tomorrow. Local airports have resumed operations on a limited basis.
We will continue to keep you posted and apologize for any inconvenience this is causing you. No credit card will be billed until orders are processed and ready to be shipped out.
8:09am EST (Monday, September 11): Hurricane Irma has caused major disruptions across South Florida and the Walk Easy offices remain closed today.
The hurricane has now been downgraded to a tropical storm but a large part of South Florida is without power and has sustained damage and flooding.
UPS, Fedex, DHL and the U.S. Postal Service have announced that there will be no pickups today. We hope to resume normal operations within 48 hours.
3:56am EST (Friday, September 8): Walk Easy will be closed on Friday, September 8, as a result of the imminent arrival of hurricane Irma, expected to make landfall in South Florida within 48 hours.
Service providers including Fedex and UPS have suspended pickup and delivery services until further notice. Therefore, all orders received after Thursday, September 7, at 1:00pm will ship once we resume normal operations. We will do our best to get all orders out as soon as possible and in the order in which they were received.
From everyone here at Walk Easy, we are grateful for your business and your continued support.
Updates will be posted here as they become available
